Here are a few mods we have done to
personalize our RT. Most of the things we have got from the USA with kind
help from friendly fellow RT riders. Others we have got from various
suppliers and the rest we made ourselves.
R1200RT Modifications............so far!

Touratech Seat, keeps the OEM wiring for the heating switch, front tabs are
just packaging.
Touratech side stand plate, and carbon kick guards.

OEM seat on the left. TT Kahedo seat on the right, quite a
difference.

Colour matched Top Box, damaged one from e-bay, repaired painted and lock
changed, total £100
Below you can see some of the recent
additions, crash bars and also some rear "infill" panels.
Wunderlich Micro lights,
which actually are made by Ring and are available from Halfords £27 ish, but
without the bespoke bracket.

These fit above the
passenger foot rest, and stop the excess spray you do get on the R12 over the
R1150.
Also Wunderlich Engine Bars
This winter, to try and keep some
of the crud off the engine and exhaust, I have made a little skid plate for our
R1200RT.

I remember how the engine on our old R1150RT
went after a few winters on the grotty salt slewn UK roads, this was fitted to
try and keep it at bay.

your hand warm, safe and dry.
